Research Focus and Themes

My research is situated at the intersection of governance, technology, and community health, with a strong emphasis on generating evidence that informs policy, strengthens institutions, and advances equitable development. I adopt an interdisciplinary approach that integrates insights from international relations, project management, public health, and human rights frameworks.

My work is particularly concerned with how emerging technologies – especially artificial intelligence-interact with governance systems, shaping decision-making processes, accountability structures, and service delivery outcomes. Within this context, I examine the opportunities and risks associated with technology adoption, focusing on ethical considerations, inclusivity, and long-term societal impact.

A central strand of my research explores community health systems, with attention to locally grounded models that improve access, efficiency, and resilience in underserved settings. I am equally interested in project risk management and implementation science, particularly how complex interventions can be designed, executed, and evaluated within dynamic and resource-constrained environments.

Across these areas, my research is guided by a commitment to equity, accountability, and policy relevance, ensuring that scholarly inquiry translates into practical solutions that improve lives and strengthen systems.
